Recently, the CGNEI’ Brazil Company (CGNBE) and Edra’s KLPP were granted the 2023 Gold Award for Safety by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Since its establishment in 2019, CGNBE has been improving on a continuous basis its Safety, Quality and Environment (SQE) Management System, carrying out on a regular basis the identification and treatment of hidden hazards in equipment, comprehensively strengthening safety education and training, and paying close attention to in-process risk management, which has effectively consolidated its SQE management foundation, contributed to the continuous improvement in the safe operation and maintenance level of operating plants, and enabled it to win the "Brazilian National Quality Award" for multiple times.

Edra’s KLPP, located in Malaysia, with a total installed capacity of 506MW, was put into commercial operation in 1996. By now, it has achieved a record of 4,851 days of safe production with zero accident, and cumulatively won 11 gold awards from Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH).

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a global organization focusing on safety, with a history of 103 years. The RoSPA Award for Safety was established by RoSPA in 1956 and is an internationally authoritative occupational health and safety award program covering more than 50 countries around the world.
