South Korea’s Daesan Power Plant Hits 5,000 Days of Safe and Accident-Free Operation, Setting a Record
On May 11, CGN South Korea Daesan Power Plant achieved a record of 5,000 days of safe and accident-free operation, becoming an excellent representative of the safety management standard of local power stations.

According to South Korea’s Industrial Safety and Health Act, since the acquisition of Daesan Phase I project by the Korean company in 2009, there has been no personal injury to employees in the areas of safety production of Daesan Power Plant Phase I, engineering construction of Daesan Biomass Power Plant and production operation and maintenance, marking a milestone in the field of safety, health and environmental management of this plant. This is also another solid achievement in the field of safety management by CGN Energy International’s South Korea subsidiary since the Yulchon Power Plant in South Korea achieved a 6,000-day accident-free safety record.
