For eight years, we have walked this path together. From the sparks along the Silk Road to the rise of green power worldwide, we have crossed mountains and oceans, gathering across time zones to celebrate the eighth anniversary of CGN Energy International.

Our journey has never been a smooth one. Amid profound global changes and turbulent industry cycles, we have weathered challenges and proven our strength. Every test we faced has shaped our transformation—from a newcomer to a strong pillar of CGN’s international endeavors. Eight years of perseverance and dedication have led us from steady groundwork to empowering our own momentum for growth.

Over the past eight years,

• we have delivered 13 million kW of clean energy, lighting up hope in 18 countries across 4 continents;

• we have pursued efficiency in every kWh and achieved steady improvements in operational performance;

• we have upheld the “Six Zeros” commitment, reinforcing CGN’s gold-standard reputation for safety and quality;

• we have advanced reform and innovation, nurturing new quality productive forces;

• we have shared China’s stories with greater impact, making the name of CGNEI increasingly known worldwide.

From the tides of the Strait of Malacca to the blazing sun over the South African plains; from the morning mist of the Mekong in Laos to the starlit skies above Brazil’s rainforests; from the rain-washed streets of Paris to the bright lights along the Han River—every place on CGNEI’s global map bears the marks of our efforts and stands as a heartfelt chapter written for this era.

Now, at the crossroads of the successful conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan, we look to the future with confidence. Taking the 8th anniversary as a new starting point, we will continue to uphold a spirit of“be willing to act, and able to deliver real outcomes,” stay true to the principles of “ Strict, Prudent, Meticulous and Practical.” We will unite our strength with shared purpose, carry forward the spirit to tackle tough challenges and achieve decisive success, and move forward with greater confidence and firmer steps toward the next horizon of the CGN’s global development.
