On October 24, local time, the annual event of the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program was held in Sao Paulo, and CGNBE was granted the 2022 Gold Award under the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program. This is the fourth consecutive year that CGNBE is granted this award.

The GHG Protocol is based on the 20-year cooperative relationship between the World Resources Institute (WRI) and World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) by cooperating with governments, trade associations, non-governmental organizations, enterprises and other organizations, with the goal of providing methods and standards for greenhouse gas accounting. The award was granted by the famous Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), especially to organizations that achieved the highest qualification and transparency in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Since the entry of CGNBE into the Brazilian market in 2019, it has committed itself to the sustainable development of social environment, strictly implemented the requirements of local environmental laws and regulations, actively implemented Brazil's "carbon neutrality" initiative, constantly pursued the excellence in environmental management, and kept helping Brazil be transformed into a more sustainable low-carbon economy.
