This year marks the 10th anniversary of the "Belt and Road" Initiative and the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Malaysia. Recently, under the guidance of the Embassy of China in Malaysia, Edra under CGNEI, held an open day to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the "Belt and Road" Initiative and invited 100 Malaysian university students to make a visit to CGN’s EMPP.

On the morning, EMPP plant manager first gave a science lecture to the visiting students, introducing the overall situation of the plant, safety measures and power supply contribution, and explaining the power generation principle and operation mode of the gas-fired cycle power plant. Later, the students visited the plant and learned about the main buildings and important equipment in the plant. During the visit, the students were quite interested in the power generation principle and gas turbine technology and actively raised questions. When they learned that EMPP’s annual generation can meet 10% of the electricity demand in Malay Peninsula, everyone sang high praises for the high-efficiency and stable power generation capacity of the plant.
