  • After months of meticulous planning, coordination, and preparation—including the procurement of educational supplies and organizing handover ceremonies—the 2024 "Edra Education Aid programme" has been successfully completed. This year's initiative covered 26 primary schools across four Malaysian states where Edra's power plants are located, benefiting a total of 1,600 students.

As part of this year's program, Edra donated books in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to the schools and funded the repair and improvement of campus facilities, creating a better learning environment for the children. Additionally, each student received school shoe vouchers and a new backpack, helping to ease the financial burden on parents preparing school supplies for the new academic year. The program aims not only to provide material support but also to cultivate students' interest in STEM subjects, bridge the educational resource gap between urban and rural communities, inspire greater academic achievements, and contribute to Malaysia's future development.

The "Edra Education Aid programme" is a key CSR initiative by Edra in the field of education. To date, it has benefited over 30,000 students and was once featured in the State-Owned Enterprises Overseas Social Responsibility Blue Book by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).
