CGNEI Gas Turbine Power Generation Committee Officially Established

  • On November 6, the founding ceremony of CGNEI Gas Turbine Power Generation Committee (hereinafter referred to as "CGTPGC") was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Shenzhen, China jointly. More than 100 representatives from industry associations, industrial chain enterprises, and universities participated in the event to jointly seek the development of the gas turbine power generation industry, and witnessed the founding of CGTPGC.


    As an advanced power machine, gas turbine plays an important role in promoting the global clean and low-carbon energy transition and achieving the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" goals. The founding of the Gas Turbine Power Generation Committee by CGNEI marks an important step in the high-quality development of the gas turbine power generation industry, aiming to actively respond to CGN's requirements on gas turbine power generation business and scientific and technological innovation, build a professional platform for gas turbine power generation collaboration, strengthen industrial chain collaboration, improve the operation and maintenance level of gas turbine power generation, and promote the prosperity and development of the industry.


    The conference has activtivities such as guest speeches, themed presentations, launching ceremony, topic sharing and cooperation agreement signing. At the conference, CGNEI announced its "Gas-fired Power Leadership” program and the "Five Main Directions for Technological R&D", proposing CGN’s Approach to the high-quality development and prosperity of the gas turbine industry. Subsequently, with the help of the platform of CGNEI Gas Turbine Power Generation Committee, CGNEI will strive to achieve continuous improvements and breakthroughs in terms of installed capacity, engineering construction, core indicators of production, operation and maintenance, intellectual property rights and scientific and technological content, and demonstration, and focus on scientific and technological research and development of hydrogen-doped gas turbines.
